Just Remember It's a Daydream

Another piece of art inspired by the White Sea remix of the song Mountaineer by The Naked and Famous :) I decided to use an older brush I made in Photoshop a while ago, and I think I’m going to start painting with it a lot more. I absolutely love how chill this song sounds! Enjoy!

My Different Styles

These are my different drawing styles as of late :) First in red you have my comic style, and then the rest are more of my animation drawing style. I like switching back and forth between these styles in order to get my practice up in both styles. Enjoy!

Thunder and Lightning

I was listening to the White Sea remix of the song Mountaineer by The Naked and Famous and I was inspired to draw this for fun :) It is anthro versions of thunder and lightning. I wanted to make Lightning's hair imitate how wild lightning can be, and for Thunder to be more conserved but at the same time powerful. Enjoy!

Here are some sketches I did of my character Rick. I wanted to draw him doing more expressions, and also draw one drawing of him with Caroline. I'm thinking of including the "plasma scene" where Rick gets stuck in it in my comic somehow. Enjoy! :)

Late Night Sketching Randomness

Slim Jim Character Studies

Nervous Nellie

Another set of sketches to go along with my character "Slim Jim" :) This is "Nervous Nellie" who never knew how to stay calm.  She would always be alert when serving customers dessert, but a wrong order would be her biggest qualm. I'm thinking of doing more with "Slim Jim" and "Nervous Nellie" for fun :) Enjoy!

Slim Jim

I wanted to do some more character designs just for fun, so here is "Slim Jim" whose arms were too long and legs were too thin :). I thought it would be fun to try to mimic the tombo brush to shade Jim, since I normally use the tombo when shading in my sketchbook. Enjoy!

Allan

Since I normally draw digitally using my tablet PC, I thought it would be nice to go back to the basics and use my Bamboo tablet to do some digital drawing :) Surprisingly, it was easier to draw digitally with my Bamboo tablet. Anyways, this is my character Allan from my web comic Clean Sweep. I'm planning on starting up my comic again around December-ish, but we'll see. Enjoy!

Nolan Dream Storyboard Sequence WIP1

This is a storyboard sequence that I'm working on for fun to get my practice back up. It's still a work in progress but I wanted to show what I have so far. This is a sequence where my character Nolan is having a strange dream and sees a bizarre sight :). I wanted to also practice some new camera moves. Enjoy!
